Review on 🔥 Enhanced Cooling Performance with Derale 13614 Series 9000 Plate and Fin Transmission Oil Cooler, Black by Jesse Spoja

This is a strong and durable cooler. I wish the radiators were like this. It has NPT 3/8 female fittings so larger size (60 gallon compressor or similar) hoses with male ends will fit. See photos for my application. I used separately purchased bolts, double nuts and thread lock and the supplied foam squares and fender washers to install this cooler on the side of the cage that protects the compressor belt due to the built in flywheel fan. The fan moves enough air to provide cooling, just keep the back of the cooler open by leaning it against a wall. (The minimum I read somewhere is 8 inches from the wall). Also, I've noticed less stress with the hoses down, and there are no restrictions on the orientation direction of this cooler on the manufacturer's website. It removes a huge amount of water from my compressor before it gets into the tank (that's where the cooler should be placed most efficiently, right next to the compressor head), but some water still remains in the tank when it's done, so not one yet comes out to power my gear. In addition, the cooled air needs a place where water can collect and separate. I chose this item, although something that automatically empties itself every time the compressor stops and depressurizes the head would be better. See photo for detailed description.
