Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Enhance Your Recording and Streaming Experience with the Blue Ember XLR Condenser Mic: Featuring Custom Cardioid Capsule and Mic Stand Mount by Tim Harrington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good value for money. to the Point

The Blue Ember Condenser Mic is an impressively quiet mic for its $99 price tag and generally doesn't require much processing to sound good. As for the mic itself, I don't really have much to complain about, especially considering I don't like other pro Blue mics like the Yeti. The shape and low profile make it easy to place in tight spaces. Basic things to know. 1: In the worst case, it needs a shock absorber. Blue's recommended shock mount costs the same as the mic itself. If you don't have a shock mount, don't mount this mic on a stand that sits on a table or on a stand that conducts sound easily. It's too small to fit in your regular cheap shock absorber. He'll just fail. Although there are other shock absorbers with similar threads, these are usually not long enough. I've tried several. I would like to see Blue include a shock absorber. Also a small clip would be better than the clip that is coming.2. The pop screen is absolutely necessary. I would use a pop screen with any mic anyway, but that's just something to remember. Now that you've spent $99 on a mic, $99 on a shock, and, say, $30 or more on a good pop screen, you've moved into other inexpensive mic territory, which arguably are just as good, if not better, but already supplied with this material. The price of the microphone is high, but when you consider everything else there is plenty to choose from. So for now, Ember's main selling point is probably its profile and the fact that it doesn't have the typical sound of a cheap Chinese condenser microphone.
