I am very fed up with this product! I really WANT to love her, but she has some undeniable flaws. I was looking for the perfect drinking bottle for everyday use and for hiking. I am an avid hiker and spend most of my time on the trails in hot to very hot temperatures. So finding something isolated is crucial. This water bottle is definitely worth a look in that regard. Unfortunately, wide neck options are a problem. The standard lid on this project is great because it has a wander handle, but the wide opening requires you to essentially STOP what you're doing to take a sip. Every move and the liquid spills out onto you. I deliberately chose a wide neck to allow ice to be added as standard neck sizes are often too small for large cubes. If you add too many ice cubes because it's so well insulated, the ice will hit your teeth (and freeze!) all the time. do) or a hinged lid. I would LOVE a flip top lid to avoid problems with spills and freezing teeth, but it doesn't have a wander grip. I'm not usually that specific, but my water bottle is always with me and has to meet some basic requirements. Unfortunately this one is inferior - ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE!
