What a ring matters! The body of my Nikon D750 camera features rivets and triangular split rings for shoulder straps. The right shoulder strap hooks and covers the viewfinder when I switch from horizontal to vertical. I was considering investing in a different connection system for my Op/Tech shoulder strap. I've been thinking about switching from the classic thin 3/8" nylon webbing to a tubular nylon loop connector, or switching to another brand like Peak Design or Custom SLR that also use tubular loops. This O-ring and tread set is by no means cheap. But it is an alternative connector or camera straps are more than that.
