My 8 year old son started showing signs of follicular keratosis around the age of 6. We've been trying mostly moisturizer for a couple of years and his skin hasn't improved at all. I opted for the scrub. This is normal for his skin. Not great, not terrible. I know everyone will get different results with different skin products. It's not the best choice for my son. As expensive as it was, I was hesitant to try it. But you never know what works. My 2 main complaints about KP Duty Body Scrub: 1) Terrible smell. I'm fine with unscented products, but this stuff doesn't even fall into the 'unscented' category because it smells like sweaty socks. Rough! 2) It wasn't the best product for us. The first time we used it, my son had a minor burn on both elbows. After that, we just skipped the application in that area. I decided to try the brown sugar scrub and it works so much better for us. I literally just mix organic brown sugar in a bowl with some water and that's it. Much cheaper, smells like cookies and feels and looks better on my son's skin than the KP Duty Body Scrub.
