Beautiful belt. Standard thickness is 1/8 inch but so soft and flexible I don't even know if I'm wearing it. And no glued faux leather, just 100% natural cowhide leather. It even smells like leather. Many "real leather" belts have beveled edges. which hide the "glued" leather in thin leather covers on each side of the belt. Glued leather belts are artificial junk that falls apart within six to eight months. The interchangeable buckle on this belt is great too, although the buckle itself is good - very strong, well made and attractive. This product offers so much for such a low price, perhaps because the famous designer's name is not on the belt. Beltiscool definitely describes the belt - someone really knows how to make a belt in the 21st century. Thank you Beltiscool and thank you Revain. I spent months looking for a good belt to replace my previous one which lasted 27 years. I'm pretty sure Finally found it Highly recommended UPDATE I originally gave this product five stars. If I worked on a cattle ranch or wore black pants, I'd still be happy. But I wear light colored pants and the oil and/or paint from this belt has permanently stained the pants below the belt and even 1/4 inch below and above the belt. I have washed the belt twice in hot soapy water to remove the oil but the belt still leaves additional marks on top of the old marks even though the belt's leather is now bone dry. Screaming does not remove stains.
