They are very nice to the touch and look very nice. However, the rubber is very thick, which makes the controller heavier (which I honestly don't mind), and some of the undersides are lower than the cover, requiring you to press harder to get to those buttons. For me the downside was that the thickness also means you can't attach the controller to a charger. It would be great if you don't mind charging with a cable instead of a charging stand (the charging stand we use is a PlayStation stand that charges from the bottom of the controller, so I can't speak for a charger that's t branded or charged from the top of the controller)
