If the Apple Pencil doesn't work with your iPad because the cashier at Walmart sold you the wrong iPad. The Apple Pencil only works with the iPad Pro. The stylus in the picture worked straight away and worked on my iPhone. And I didn't have to pair it with any of the devices. Ah, maybe you want to save yourself money, frustration and headaches.
