I bought this to attend a 5 week yoga retreat in Guatemala. I knew the place I was staying wasn't much. Primitive. Although I was told that mosquitoes weren't a problem there, I brought it anyway. I'm so glad I did! I wasn't sure how to hang it, but my ceiling was made of large bamboo beams, so I attached it to one of them above my bed. Once in my bed, I tucked the mesh under the foam "mattress" on all sides. I lay in bed with a flashlight and read. and I could hear and see all sorts of moths and other flying bugs reaching for the light, but they could not reach me. Ha! It also kept the local cat from climbing into my bed, as she loved to do with others (she once brought a present to my neighbor's bed. A live rat!). Although a lot of bugs flew around, a cat, spiders on the wall and even scorpions (one night they crawl around the external network). I felt comfortable in my cocoon! I left it there as a gift for the next person sleeping in my room. I will definitely buy more!
