Great fun camera! Like XP130.

Definitely not a professional camera. But it is a wonderful "outdoor, all-weather and diving camera". This camera is always with me, even when I'm wearing my professional gear. I live in north Idaho. We have a lot of rain and snow. Most of my work is related to street photography. It's great for working closely together in a crowd. I used to have a Fuji XP90. Now I have XP120 and now XP130. My grandchildren love the XP120. It's fairly kid-safe and a great camera for kids to learn. If you want better photos, I recommend "adjusting" the camera. Almost all consumer cameras can be customized. Here's how to set up the XP130. Select "RECORDING MODE" and then "P". PROGRAM AE mode. Scroll down to ISO and select AUTO 400. Images tend to fall apart at ISO 400. IMAGE SIZE: 4.3. Select IMAGE QUALITY: HIGH. Last select FinePixCOLOR: CHROME. With normal camera settings, the image file size is between 1.50 MB and 3 MB. When setting up the camera, the file size increases to 8 MB. If you just want to take beautiful photos, SCENE RECOGNITION is hard to beat. Cons: The camera needs good lighting for sharp images. (Most cameras do this) Zoom is sometimes blurry when zooming in. Make sure you have enabled STABILIZATION SETUP. The focus is sometimes blurred. Experiment with AF MODE and find out which setting works best for you. Some of them are better than others depending on what you're shooting. Attached are some quick photos I took. This is a fun camera to play with. The XP130 has lots of fun settings to play with and explore.

Pros
  • Fujinon 5x optical wide-angle zoom (28-140mm)
Cons
  • Crumpled
