This was an inexpensive way to upgrade the headlights on a 1969 Chevelle. We used the original technology and the low beam was practically useless. We've added two of these for high/low beam and couldn't be happier. High frequencies are insanely bright and low frequencies are twice as good as the original. They fit right into an old GM A-Body bucket, with a small adjustment on the bucket to align the tongue for the right situation. If some LED light alternatives for older cars cost literally $700 or more, this is a solid choice. fast plug and play alternative. I will be adding two more to complete the four headlight look on my Chevelle.
