This was the perfect decoration to hang over my 6 year old son's bedroom door as he slept the night before his birthday. It's full of pirates, treasure and GOLD in everything! He looked in awe as he opened his door in the morning and walked through the shimmering GOLD! It was very funny when my 3 year old daughter woke up first and ran to my bed and asked where her gold curtain was! Luckily mom had planned ahead and had a sparkly pink in the closet for her. Both children are delighted with their shimmering strands. I would definitely buy them again (and I might if they get tattered over time. They're worth it). I will say that they are difficult to hang and quite delicate. I've found clear tape to work well; However, I have to click on them every few days or they start falling. Once fell, and the tape stuck to the threads! It was a real mess; However, I was able to sort things out. In addition, the children had to learn the limits of their curtains and quickly discovered that they would tear if you tugged on them. I only had to wrap a few strands (easy to wrap when pulled) until they learned. Now separate the strands neatly and pass them through. That's too cute :-) I think I might try this blue masking tape next time the clear tape comes off. I think the blue band will last longer. Yes, that's the plan. I'm sure the blue will stand out terribly, but who cares. children love them. O. and somewhat long for standard doors and ceilings; However, 1 minute with the scissors will give them the perfect length. I definitely. definitely. would definitely buy them again! hmmmm Maybe this will be our new birthday present. The kids will love them!
