I bought this duvet for our 2 year old son. It's a lovely neutral color that suits both boys and girls and is so soft! The blanket is packed in a very nice cotton presentation bag. From the inside it is wrapped with tape. The packaging is perfect if you're looking to buy this as a birthday present! I washed the duvet before giving it to our son (cold, delicate, no dyes and no fragrance). I used a medium heat dryer and it turned out great! Still very soft, no pilling or fading. I've come across other baby blankets that are too delicate or too difficult to wash, which never made sense to me because babies shed all the time! This Make Make Organics blanket is easy to wash, making it a great choice for babies and toddlers. The blanket is very well made and the labels confirm that the fabric is 100% organic cotton. I also really liked the cross stitch. It's cute on the gray side and even cuter on the back of white - it's a simple, classic choice for a child's bedroom or nursery. Our little one uses the duvet as a light blanket in his "big" bed. This is a great weight for summer or fall. I can also see this blanket being used for 'tummy time' for a toddler - it has adequate padding and is the perfect size, plus the soft material would be so nice for a little face to rest on. This blanket would make a great gift. for a baby shower or even for an older child. It's soft, warm, durable and easy to wash in a lovely neutral colour. I can see our family has been using this blanket for years!
