Jack Cradle is too low to the ground, packaging does not match the weight

I have a motorbike but I also bought one to raise a small work surface to a comfortable working height and to transport heavy items to my work table. I'm getting older and my back needs this. When I ordered this there was no mention of a reduced height in the description. However, someone addressed this in the Customer Questions and Answers section. It says it's 12 inches and 13 3/8 inches. So if there is more than one version or if they are very different, this may or may not work for you. Perhaps the seller can clarify this and add it to the description. My problem with this lift was that the jack's cradle was so low relative to the ground (only 3/32 inch clearance) that it would rise at the slightest bump in the ground surface in the middle, or even a small piece of debris caught on it . However, I was impressed with the rigidity of the scissor mechanism. Even in the raised position, it was pretty durable. was terribly inadequate considering his weight. The package weight was about 70 pounds but it came in a single wall box with no straps. Box on the floor of a UPS truck. This is just my opinion, but it is the result of improper packaging rather than mishandling. At least UPS kept all the parts with the box even though it was torn apart. the price of this product, since a double-walled box with a few packing tapes would by far outweigh the relatively small additional charge.)
