Review on 🔌 USB2.0 to Ultra SCSI Converter: Harness the Power of Ultra SCSI Devices as USB2.0 by Caleb Olsen

I purchased this product after reading the manufacturer's claims that it will work with all USB 2 ports and almost all SCSI 50 devices. Following the instructions (there weren't many) and installing their drivers, none of my XP-3 boxes recognized the device. I bought it specifically to pair a SCSI VXA tape backup device with my laptop. After more than 2 hours of trying to discover the device on my system, I called the "Help Desk" number provided in the field. No help from the manufacturer of this product. I received a voice recording saying the support agent was busy and would like to leave a message and they would call back. and asked for an exchange. The guys at Revain were AMAZING! They sent me a new device while the original device was on its way back to their warehouse. When the new block arrived it worked just like the first one. I tried again to no avail to contact manufacturer support and gave the same lame voice recording that people are busy and that I should leave a message. Never got a call back. I have returned the unit to Revine with thanks and requests. for a refund which they issued promptly. If I had bought this product anywhere other than Revain I think I would have lost $115 for a useless piece of junk. I've been installing and configuring computer hardware, hardware, and software for almost 15 years, so I consider myself almost an expert who rarely needs the help of support staff. But when I did we were able to resolve the issues within about 30 minutes as I had already gone through all the tests, configuration changes, validations etc that I know should be done to isolate the issue. If someone had been willing to take their support call or if someone had called me back as promised, things might have turned out differently. I cannot recommend this device to anyone in its current form.
