I did a lot of research before purchasing this weighted blanket. I really love it! I chose this because it's made from high-quality chemical-free cotton, lead-free glass beads for weight, machine washable, and dye-safe. Many other weighted blankets are not machine washable and require an expensive and uncomfortable cover. This doesn't require a cover as it's machine washable, although the company seems to be offering some great covers if you really want one. (I also checked the Baloo website and Facebook page. I even contacted the company with a question and got a hilarious and informative response). It is the softest cotton and very well made. (I had trouble falling asleep and woke up multiple times during the night. Friends suggested a weighted blanket. I did some research and decided on this baloo. I sleep better than I have in years! I sleep well and now sleep through this blanket at night. You was worth every cent!). Although I have a queen size bed, I chose this mini size and it's just perfect for me, and it's easy to take to the sofa for a nap too!
