We installed two - one in the living room and one in the breakfast nook. Both were direct replacements for hideous construction templates. Both were installed in a round junction box in the ceiling. The first to go up had an issue with the down facing screws holding a tiny nut. They had to be cut off as they were too long. This combined with the cut out hole in the original build box's mounting plate resulted in the installation taking three times as long. Standing on the stairs with your hands over your head is no fun. Luckily there were no problems with the second one. The box is undamaged, the screws are the right length. Now that they're installed, with screw-on dimmable Edison LEDs, they look great. Both had just one small issue: one of the lamp sockets in each light had a very conspicuous white label showing the power limit. We removed them. I am happy with my purchases. Interestingly, the manufacturer's boxes differed slightly in size and labeling. One was a ceiling light and the other a chandelier. I can't tell the lights apart, also they're 8ft tall and I'm 5ft 5in tall. There must be another production cycle. I didn't buy them in the same order. They were bought two weeks apart.
