My 7 year old LOVES this as her new school backpack. It's a little on the small side. I read the reviews and thought I was ready, but it's MUCH smaller than I expected. The picture of the lunch bag next to it is actually correct. But she's in second grade, so it will suit her. The handle of the lunch bag slides over the handle when pushed out. And that's good. I like the plastic pieces on the bottom which hopefully will help the bag last a little longer. I'll keep an eye on the traction as several people have reported that it broke early.
