The hair is smaller than the average child's backpack.
Daughter loves it. Maybe I missed something in the description, but the bag is a bit smaller than a normal kids backpack, about 2/3 of a normal backpack. This is great for younger kids like Pre-K and K grades. A standard size folder just fits in a pocket. I work, my girl is still small. The quality is good, just be aware that it runs small.
