The lens coating does what it's supposed to - covers and protects along with a little camouflage coating for outdoor ties if you don't want your big white beacon lens to draw attention - I think everything but the lens caps are too expensive but if you need to be "discreet" you need to pay $$$ and probably because it's photography related too!
