These make-up remover pads from Almay are quite dry. You could remove something powdery, like eyeshadow, but mascara and eyeliner. Unlikely! I ended up pouring some liquid eye makeup remover onto the pads to make them work which is why it's worth buying. In addition, the smell of the product was disgusting. The pads smelled like nail polish remover.
