Review on Stay on Top of Baby Care with Motorola MBP161TIMER Digital Audio Baby Monitor with Timer Functionality by Dorota Ziciowska ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I do not advise buying this product, there is nothing to praise here.

Despite the parent unit's many buttons for setting various timings (feeding, changing diapers, etc.), we have never once utilized them in the past year. We use the main unit twice daily for around two to three hours, and the battery lasts us for about three to four days. We left it charging overnight because that's how long it takes. I would never suggest this design to anyone. Don't be silly and waste your money like we did. Don't waste your money on this junk if you can spring for anything better.

Pros
  • Temperature is displayed. The baby monitor's microphone is crystal clear.
Cons
  • The infant monitor requires a power outlet to function. The night bulb on the kids' block (one name) hardly gives forth any light. When the child unit is in the next room, a distance of about 10 meters, the parent unit frequently loses connection and the kid unit suddenly begins beeping, either loudly or silently, with the volume setting itself without any logic or settings. It turns out that quite loudly, it can sometimes wake the child.
