I bought this for a plane ride during Covid-19. I brought it to wear in addition to my mask in case someone was sitting near me on the plane. Fortunately no one was in my row or in the row in front of me or behind me so I didn't use it. But it packs so small it's worth traveling with just in case. My head is 7-1/4" and it fit fairly snugly. The plastic protector and hat have velcro that allow it to attach securely to the brim of the hat. The hat maintains its shape when on but the clear plastic is pretty thin and will still some wrinkles/waves in it when opened up, so don't expect a perfectly clear view like the solid shields you see medics use. Not sure I'd be good walking around with this on. But overall it's a good purchase for the price.
