It has to be said that the owner of Kitchables knows how to make an impressive young man feel special. The set also included a neat branding stand. I would buy this product again for the goodies alone. So real product. The cups are much lighter than I expected. Because they're made from two thin layers of glass, the space between those layers is hollow, which is great for insulation - espresso continues to steam for a few minutes after it's poured into these cups. However, this construction makes them feel fragile. I was expecting the mugs to be a heavy, solid glass construction, but now that I have them in my hands, it almost feels like they will break in my hand if I hold them too tight. It's an acceptable compromise though: great insulation for a slim design. I almost didn't want to deduct a star in this review, but the reason I did it is because one of the four mugs I received has a slightly warped bottom. , so that the cup wobbles a bit and does not sit flat on the table. This can of course be a separate issue with my delivery.
