I was trying to decide between this box set and the Akro Mils 44 box. Since Mils also had over 2000 4.5 star reviews, I went for it. As soon as I unpacked it, I knew I had made a mistake. I put it back together and bought this one. The Iris version is MILES better. I would compare Akro Mils drawers to buying Ziploc disposable scrap bins, while Iris drawers would be an expensive system brand. They have a sharper appearance with a rounded smooth edge, the rest has a rough texture like cutting your finger. These are pulled out very gently, the rest sticks. They have a slight notch so they don't fall out completely, but still stretch out completely. They will hang but not fall, at least not yet. The frame is thinner and looks sleeker, while the other just looks cheap. There are hanging holes in the frame, the other needs to be hung like a picture frame. I've always had trouble placing multiple nails evenly for a single piece to hang from. I am so pleased with it that I am planning on buying a 24 box set. As for the "no delimiters" issue. That also crossed my mind since Akro Mils comes with a pair. On closer inspection, however, I wondered why are they needed? Large boxes are the size of 2 smaller boxes. If I wanted to split the big boxes, why not just buy a set with just small boxes? Set 44 has both sizes, allowing you to accommodate larger items that won't fit in a small or divided box. So in the end, if you don't need more space and want to separate them, just get a set with just the small drawers.
