These brow pro pencils were not exactly what I thought they were going to be. I haven’t used a brow pencil like this before and when I tested it out on my hand, the pencil was so hard that barely any color came off. Thankfully, it seems to work much better on my brows. I’m not sure if this is because my face was well-moisturized or if it just works better over eyebrow hair. The color actually came off quite nicely and lasted for some time. The nub of the pencil is incredibly flat and I don’t like the shape of it for defining brows. But it does come with a sharpener, or really a straight razor, that you can use to sharpen it and change the shape. This feature confuses me a little bit because the pencils come with the sharpener but they also are called peel-off pencils. So are you supposed to peel them off or sharpen them? It looks like there’s a little piece of thread imbedded in the pencil, but I couldn’t figure out how to work it to get anything to peel off. (I realize this might be my issue and not the product.) So I guess it’ll be sharpening it for me. As far as color and durability, I think these pencils are okay and you definitely get plenty of them. The color on the outside says black but it’s a dark brown at best.Edit: I figured out that you have to pull the thread straight down and then you can peel away the paper to reveal more of the product. I keep getting the thread in my eye when I use it on my brows which is annoying but I’m actually liking the pencils better than before now that I know how to use them.
