Really good and really really bad

They're really good and really bad at the same time, so I'll give a few details to maybe help you decide what's more important to you. First, they were almost impossible to use without a firmware update app, so probably don't buy them just for use with a computer. You have to use the app to set the "Pass" level, and the preset made an unbearable squeak; I've seen complaints about this in other reviews, but you can fix it with the app. You can also use the in-app equalizer, which I highly recommend. After the update, the sound is GREAT, very clear, no noise, but sometimes still disappears in the right ear when the phone is placed on the left. No problem when I'm watching a video or putting my phone in my shirt pocket. Even better, I can place the case on my wireless charger when my phone is off and the earbuds will charge every time they are placed in the case. As long as you don't mind using the app, the only other major complaint I have is the noise on the other end of the line. I tried to speak at Walmart and the person I was speaking to could hear everything from the shopping cart to the other people in the store to the point we had to end the call. When I'm outside, every wind is picked up by the microphones. This is my first pair of headphones, they'll probably all have this issue, but my last pair of bluetooth headsets worked great outside unless it was very windy, and I've been talking to other headsets regularly within Walmart with no issues. I really expected MUCH better with multiple mics and active noise cancellation. I think the noise canceling works well for me though. The call quality from my side is good, so far there is nothing between the headphones and my phone (never had such a problem with a headset). As good as they sound, plus the convenience of wireless and case charging, I didn't think of returning them. However, I'll definitely try something else if I need to replace them, at least so I can make phone calls outside my home without the other person complaining about the noise.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
