How to start. I bought this thermometer to replace a broken folding thermometer. I was looking for a great price and it fit the bill. If you then look at the features, it clearly outperforms the unit I replaced, which only had temperature readings. This Breeket thermometer is amazing. It features LED light, F° and C°, built in timer and oven safe sensor. The thermometer is activated either by extending the flip-up probe or by connecting a wired probe. The thermometer has three buttons for setting alarms and settings. The thermometer measures approximately 10 ¾' when extended with the built in probe. The external probe is inserted into the side of the thermometer and sealed with a small rubber stopper that protects the connector. The thermometer can be attached to the oven door with a magnet while the probe is in the oven. The probe cable is approximately 41 inches long, the food probe is approximately 6 ¼ inches long. The thermometer uses a standard CR2032 button cell battery. I look forward to using this thermometer for many applications where temperature is important. My sample photo shows 3 rib bars.
