As you can probably tell by the picture, these are real shoes. I don't know why they're being called a water shoe or a sandal. The look like, feel like and fit like normal shoes.Anyway, my daughter and I think these "shoes" are just too cute. Even more so in person. She says they are very comfortable and we found them true to size. The upper material is very thick and durable. It feels like it will last until she outgrows them. The soles are flexible and the bottoms have plenty of grip. I also appreciate the bottoms are light, so she's not scuffing up the gym for at school. Overall they're very nicely made and feel very sturdy. I'm really impressed. I would come back to buy her more shoes from this brand.
