I bought this because the front of my key fob case was thin and had holes over the lock and front trunk buttons. I want to protect the interior which is worth a bit of reprogramming and such if you need to replace it. I swapped out the body very easily, it takes a bit of lubrication to replace the part and is very strong once it snaps into place. This part fits my key which is for a 2001 Porsche 987 Boxster S. quite hard when pressing the buttons but that's ok because it lasts longer.
