Purchased size 3T for a 2.5 year old child. They fit well. I didn't notice any shrinkage after the first wash (on a cold one). They are very soft and feel quite warm. I bought other jogging pants for him and they were a lot thinner than expected but these are quite thick so I'm pretty sure they will keep him warm on the east coast. The waistband stretches a little but can feel a bit stiff. I'll probably have to buy another pair a size bigger before the end of winter. So if you plan on keeping this for a while, maybe go up a size, especially if your child is between sizes.
