Decent quality for the price, maybe even outstanding to be honest. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the simple knots that hold it together. I just used a white zip tie to reinforce it and it's fine! I took a call to change the size as needed. The notebook should clip under the shelf support, so if you want to remove or replace it, that's an event. Felt covers will likely deteriorate over time, but so far I'm happy. I'd say you should at least drill the cat's jumping end into the wall stud, but even if you don't I wouldn't worry about it coming out of the wall if installed well unless you have one in particular big cat. Considering how many cheap wall scratching posts I've seen at Revain, I'm glad this one lasted.
