These earplugs came in a small box and I thought "4 pillows don't fit in there". I was pleasantly surprised that they all actually fit in there. They were flattened, vacuum sealed I think. Once you cut the plastic and open the bag, it doubles in size. Then there are instructions for fluffing up the pillow and once you've done that it's four times larger than the plastic pillow. Also, the material is soft cotton, not the cheap mesh fabric I was expecting. I bought some 18x18 pillowcases that should be in the mail tomorrow so hopefully they'll get filled well. It's worth it. It's better than buying a pillow for the price of 4 pads in any store!
