Review on TV tuner World Vision Foros Combo T2/S2 by Janis Liekmanis ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is average, Im not sure its worth the money.

Not a bad box overall, but not perfect either. It heats up fine, but I believe you should check the elements' temperatures and add more heatsinks to the chips. Overheating and radio component deterioration are most likely to blame for issues in receiving over-the-air channels. This tuner is cost-effective if you use it yourself and are certain that you can handle the tuning and any subsequent issues on your own. If your hands aren't well honed and you call the master for every little thing, you shouldn't bother with cheap set-top boxes; instead, it's best to purchase a regular TV set from a reputable manufacturer with the same tuners. It will cost more money, but there will be a lot fewer issues. If you are unsure that this box will function perfectly, you shouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Pros
  • combine multiformat tuner. I've been using it for a while, and with a homemade indoor antenna with two squares, I instantly and without any issues detected the terrestrial channels. It didn't matter where the antenna was placed; everything worked. 64 FTA (open) channels rather than the Amazon prefix were received from the ABS2 satellite. Everything functions when connected through HDMI to a new television. However, I invested in an Elenberg TV set to pair with a cheap, pre-existing flat that lacked digital interfaces. I used a regular wire to connect it via some tulips, and the image displays striping as if a striped template had been applied to the image. This issue does not exist on a different TV set when viewed through tulips, demonstrating the devices' interoperability with one another. You can see that the wiring is different, therefore Tulips from the Amazon satellite set-top box are inappropriate.
Cons
  • A few months later, one multiplex of terrestrial television stopped working, and the second one started to fade. The on-air receiver BBK from this antenna, which is already 2 years old, receives both multiplexes with a boom and is connected using the same antenna as during the initial connection. After playing the tambourine and finding a spot where it could capture the first multiplex while it was operating, I put another antenna together in the shape of a ring. But I previously paid (just 100) for the swa-777 lux amplifier for two squares. If the signal becomes weaker, I will add an amplifier. The prefix enables cable-powered amplifier operation.
