HDMI to VGA/RGB power required

HDMI to VGA/RGB conversion (like using a Raspberry Pi 4 B in a KVM switch) requires power for the circuitry in the "box" (this product). Without this power supply, the computer occasionally loses connection (turns off in READY mode) with the display, resulting in an annoying blank screen while the connection is reestablished. This problem is solved with violence. most of time. But I still get screen dropouts sometimes, but much less (-95%) than before. So 4 1/2 stars, not 5. Raspberry Pi is indeed the problem.
