Great for treating/preventing diaper rash in dogs!

I recently adopted an elderly dog from a hospice in November 2018. He is 13 years old and has nerve damage, spinal cord injury, paralysis and 100% urinary incontinence including bowel/bladder due to a back injury. to a UTI that I have to keep him in tummy tuck 24/7 and have to hand pump his bladder at least 2 times a day and change his diaper, wet or not. Some dog diapers/bandages come with more irritating anti-leak elastic latex strips than others. There's a ruffle on the outside of the strap that runs around his waist/back, covering up his "manhood" (Revane didn't let me post that tech title), but there's also a leak to include an "apron" in the to prevent diaper, which annoys him. . He started turning a little pink on his stomach, and then he developed red bumps where the latex lining burns against his skin. I figured if it can be used on babies then it can be used on a dog who can't lick the area anymore anyway. I showed it to the vet, she agreed, and after a week of using it twice a day, the redness and pimples went away. Now I just powder it lightly and apply a thicker layer to any blemishes that look like they're a little inflamed. light and neutral - not medicinal or feminine at all so save some money on this stuff! I will note the fiddly lid - very difficult to turn and adjust how much comes out.
