Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Ergotron Quick Release Bracket: Securely Mount Monitors & TVs Up to 35 lbs with Less Than 3 inch Depth by Brandon Thompson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Flat with lots of screws, fits well

I need these for a specific scenario where I needed to attach them to portable travel monitors (with VESA mount compatibility). They made it and were thin enough not to interfere with anything else that was important to me. The only complaint is that the release mechanism isn't as seamless as some other heavier quick-release mounts I've seen, but I guess that's the price you pay for the thinness - it's hard to see anyone beat that can. in this form factor. Seems to be quite durable once buckled in, although be aware that you can wear it out if you buckle and unbuckle it constantly. since the clamp itself is plastic (but what your monitor bolts to and rests on is all metal). If it were to break, the biggest risk would be that your monitor could slip off when you turn it upside down, so I don't think that should be the deciding factor. Overall I would recommend this product if you are looking for something super thin that allows you to remove and reattach your monitors with relative ease. If you're looking for something ultra-light to keep your monitors locked and unplugged all the time, this probably isn't the best buy for you.
