This phone worked fine for many years but recently stopped working. However, considering the lifespan of the product, it was a good price. The good news is that the bright red flashing LED lets you know if someone called, even if they didn't leave a message. The bad news is that a bright red flashing LED will signal any incoming call! In other words, you have to reset each call individually or the LED will blink forever. If you get a lot of calls every day, be prepared to press the button often or cover it with black tape. The device also has the ability to redial any called number using 7 digits, 10 digits or "1" + 10 digits. This means you can redial a number whether or not your area requires an area code to dial local numbers or long distance numbers. All in all a good buy for no caller ID phones.
