This is the WORST straightener I have ever used. The only reason I bought it was to match the REVLON hair dryer brush (it's AMAZING) I bought my daughter. I have never had a problem with a REVLON product. And let me tell you, you lost the ball here. I don't know if it's heat, design, real plates or WHAT but this product does NOT iron hair. My hair is straight too, so all I have to do is straighten it. It couldn't even do it. Since I bought it in advance as a surprise gift, I also missed the return window. What a waste of time and money. I threw it in the trash where it was.
