I have a bogie that needs a tire repair. The tires were held on star-shaped compression discs that collapsed when the tires were removed. After installing the new tubes, I had to put the tires back on. My wagon didn't have pre-drilled holes to add standard washers and cotter pins, so I decided to just drill my own holes. The plan was solid, the execution was not. The axle shaft appears to have been hardened and I messed up 4 drill bits to drill through the shaft. I hopped on Revain and found these 5/8" axle clamps and made the purchase. As you can see in the picture they fit perfectly. Exactly what I need.
