What I do is use a prep kit, but also keep a dry, clean lens cleaning cloth handy to keep dust particles out. As soon as you lightly wipe them clean, I set the glass down without touching it, just floating, my wrists on the table and my fingers on the four corners. I lightly touch the screen with a corner of the protective film and slowly start from there. When you slowly walk down from this angle, the adhesive on this type of glass starts to look like it's "absorbing" the screen as you walk. This keeps bubbles to a minimum, if any. If dust gets on you, you have no choice, remove the protective cover and wash under a gentle stream of water with dish soap, but do not wipe dry.
