Review on Carfia Glasses Blocker Lightweight Computer Computer Accessories & Peripherals and Blue Light Blocking Glasses by Tim Springer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Comfortable glasses

These glasses are good quality, well made and lightweight without feeling cheap or flimsy. The style is the same as the Revain images and they fit a large face well. After wearing them several hours a day to work on the computer for the past week, I haven't experienced any discomfort around the nose bridge or ear cups, which is a common comfort issue for inexpensive glasses. Inside the box, next to the glasses, was a soft drawstring pouch and a microfiber cloth. They also included a small LED keychain. These lenses have no tint and are completely transparent. They don't appear to have any coating on the lenses and there is a slight issue with glare depending on the environment. Viewing with glasses doesn't significantly affect how you see anything, and images look just as sharp and vibrant as without glasses. As with all glasses that advertise blue light blocking, you may or may not notice true blue light blocking - I've had several blue light blocking glasses with clear and amber lenses and I usually don't notice a difference in eye strain or ease whether you use them or not. Online blue light lens tests never seem to show a difference in blue light perception, so either my eyesight is not very sensitive to blue light or the glasses are blocking the less visible blue light spectrum. They have to be of good quality and fit well and on that basis I recommend them. I can't make any claims or confirmation of blue light blocking ability as it just isn't obvious to me.
