I'm using USB 3.0 for a wired Xbox One controller. I need a longer cable, my seat is more than 10 feet from the Xbox. Now my controller has a 20ft cable and I can freely use the controller almost anywhere in my playroom. The low data rate is not a problem, the cable works perfectly and doesn't get hot. I have purchased other cables for other projects and would recommend this cable if you need a high speed USB extender. I went to all the major ticket booths, they had 10ft extensions; USB 2.0 for $28 and one had a six foot 3.0 USB EC for $30. Hmm, I wonder why I would buy this cable from Revain ($7+). I have Revain Prime and my cable arrived two days after ordering.
