It fits a 17 inch laptop; it usually contains a heavy 15 inch laptop. I can fit a pair of size 10 sneakers in front of my laptop bag. Endures a lot. Pockets are ok but a bit strange. Things get lost in this backpack. I had ID cards, small phones, etc. tucked away in this bag for days. I emptied it and never found it. The sunglass pocket is good for small computer stuff - Aircard, USB token, phone charger, etc. The "back" front or top pocket is half the size of what it should be. Half a sheet of paper fits in. It's not big enough to be useful. The insulated bag fits a small frozen dinner and that's it. side/beverage pockets fall down; I had things that went down and I didn't see them for two days. This backpack has made me question my sanity and memory more than once. I've had it for 18 months now and I've just noticed that the fabric inside is starting to delaminate.
