This nice and quiet device is USB powered and hangs from a PVC frame in my small mylar office tent. (Mylar helps the cool air circulate better in my small tent since I don't have air conditioning.) My subscribers don't get annoyed with too much wind in the headset mic, nor with the noise of the fan itself. Callers complain always about my other fans, but nobody said a word about the background noise when I use this fan. It lasts 16 hours on a single charge, but I leave it plugged into a USB port while I work so it's ready if the power goes out again during a storm, which is pretty common here in Texas. .
