I've had several IPS displays since I first started using them in 2015. From Acer Predator brands to Alienware and even LG. We could go back and forth between what's better than TN, VA, IPS and the obvious king in general, OLED. I returned my 42 inch LG because it was too big to use as a working monitor for FPS gaming and I wasn't impressed with the image quality when used as a PC monitor. After weeks of looking for other options I came across the Corsair 32UHD144 and I have to say I couldn't be happier. The 100% sRGB and Adobe rating with the Quantum Dot screen brings out colors I never knew I could I missed them on my predecessor IPS panels I mainly play Apex Legends and the image quality and response time is incredible. Contrast and dark images could be better and I highly recommend just turning off local dimming as this monitor uses 16 dimming zones around the edges. A peak brightness of 500 is sufficient in any room. I understand that HDR plays a big part in monitors, but people tend to forget that peak brightness is just one of many important metrics when it comes to a working PC monitor and console. I use my Xbox and PC with it. And that's me. I'm amazed every time I log in and boot up. If you are looking for a reliable IPS panel and can pay a premium for a high-end IPS panel, you will not be disappointed.
