Review on πŸͺ‘ Set of 4 Yongqiang 24" High Back Metal Bar Stools with Wooden Seat - Industrial Silver Counter Height Chairs by Kayla Guzman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good, all in all.

Considering what you're paying for, they're actually very good. Arrived well packaged, no damage. Assembly was easy (4 long back screws and 4 short seat screws per chair) and they look very nice (I have the black ones with a dark walnut seat). exactly as described in the product listing. Easy assembly by one person without tools (only hexagon wrench). Maybe 20 minutes per chair if you're fit and flexible. These are hardwood stools so not the most comfortable for the skinny among us, but they are no less comfortable than any other hard stool/chair. This is normal and can be remedied with a pillow. I'd say they're probably a little more "comfortable" than your average hard chair if you sit further back. The seat is not huge, but big enough. The back is not bad and serves its purpose. These chairs will stack unless you have a back on them. Just an important note: I've seen some confusion elsewhere. The only thing that struck me as negative is the seat trim. The wood (or whatever) is varnished, but the stain/varnish hasn't been applied properly. The finish is rough and finely rough in some places, almost like ultra-fine sandpaper. I worry that someone in a delicate dress or outfit will sit on it and the seat will damage or stretch the fabric. If I had some free time I would try sanding and polishing them myself but it's not worth it. I think the seats match 90% of everyday fabrics. I plan on keeping it - as it's not too bad to return. This is just a reminder that these are lower quality items. I will add that due to the material they are for indoor use only. They may be able to shelter outside under an umbrella, but the sun and humidity will ruin them. However, they are sturdy enough for indoor use. So 1 star is lost for the extra fine sandpaper seat, but everything else is pretty good.
