Filmmakers/photographers Shoes of the gods

My work: documentary and fashion photography My problem: the sneakers I used to wear don't fit, hiking shoes are too bulky. Off-road, towing gear, getting in and out of trucks, being quick on my feet and having tons of padding but still enough support to keep my ankle secure. After reading that UPS drivers liked them, I gave them a try. Day 1 will be hacky. You will experience some chafing and toe issues (I wear a size 12). Push forward my friend, push forward. DAY 2 was a long 12 hour shoot with four shots on multiple cameras in the area. End of the day. My feet STILL feel soft and supported, not so sore I can't wait to take my shoes off. I cannot recommend them enough for the work I do. Traction on gravel, concrete, gravel, roads, but still quite light and with good foot cushioning.

Pros
  • Hiking and trekking
Cons
  • I can't remember, but there was something
