1. I'm a tall guy: 6ft 1in and 240. But I expected them to last longer. I walk about 3-4 miles a day and the protector was OFF in less than a month. They cost $35 so I wasn't expecting much. But wow. Don't expect them to last long. affects the ball of the foot. I have wide feet and regularly blow out my shoes near the ball joint of my big toes. But they were so wide that the sole could be felt.
