A pointed loop means the bar will keep falling
If you hit a bump and there are no clothes hanging on the bar, it will fall. This is apparently because the silver metal hook has a triangular shape at the end. above so that the contact with the standard hook in the car is very small. If you weigh it down with clothes, there's no problem. A rubber pad keeps the hangers in place. I have had my previous hanger bar on several vehicles for over 10 years and it has never fallen off. Very disappointed with the product.
